Rycroft Calorifiers

Calorifier is a term used to describe an extensive range of industrial and commercial hot water heaters. High performance tubular heat exchangers ensure Rycroft calorifiers offer the most flexible and economic solution to provide your hot water heating requirements. Rycroft heat exchangers utilise a range of primary heating systems. Suitable for a range of primary fluids including LTHW, MTHW, HTHW & steam.
The vessels can be manufactured to various codes including BS853 & BS5500 and from a range of materials to suit the pressure requirements including copper, copper lined mild steel & stainless steel. Vessels can be horizontal or vertical to suit space availability.

Rycroft also offer the Maximiser unit which is a semi-storage calorifier equipped with an in-built non-storage heat exchanger. The baffled heat exchanger with a 2-pass shell provides an efficient compact unit which is considerably smaller than a conventional storage heater battery. An integral pump circulates secondary water between the storage section and the heat exchanger. The interconnecting pipes are so arranged that the entire volume quickly reaches full storage temperature. This not only assures a maximum reserve of hot water but also eliminates any areas of cool water, which may promote the growth of Legionella pneumophilia. The Maximiser units are ideally suited to hospital or hotel applications where high peak demands are required.

Tonon Stainless Steel Calorifiers

Tonon produce stainless steel calorifiers for hot water production. The units satisfy your hot water requirements with the large heat exchanger surface ensuring high continual delivery even when the stored hot water is used up.

A range of sizes from 200 litres to 1450 litres is available and can be supplied with one or two heat exchange coils for hot water generation, or without for storage only. Vessels are manufactured to high standards from low carbon 316L stainless steel. They are insulated with a rigid polyurethane foam and a soft mattress cover. Vessels have a flanged inspection cover as well as fittings for optional control panel and electric elements.
